About

Welcome

My name is Mohamed Shalaby, BI Analyst who will help you start any business idea from scratch and implement it from a business perspective using methods like VMOSA, SWOT, TWOS, risk planning, market research, and financial planning.

From a technological perspective, I use analytical methods like SQL for building databases, plus Power BI, Tableau, and Python to generate insightful reports.

I am also passionate about languages as a B2 Spanish level learner, willing to use my knowledge to translate books, blogs, or teach Spanish.

Retail Insight Dashboard

Used the Superstore sales dataset from Kaggle.
Cleaned the data to achieve credibility.
Designed an interactive dashboard with real business insights.
Added KPI for revenue and cards for total sales, total orders, and total customers.
Included a line chart to track sales by region across years, quarters, months, and days.
Created a stacked bar chart for products sold by quantity and multiple slicers for deeper exploration.

Brazilian E-commerce Analysis (Olist)

Used the Brazilian E-commerce public dataset by Olist from Kaggle.
Cleaned the data to ensure credibility and added missing table relationships.
Created DAX formulas to uncover deeper insights.
Designed an interactive dashboard with cards for completed orders, sellers, freight value, total revenue, and AOV.
Included a clustered bar chart for cities with highest profit.
Added a table for customer comments with date, city, and product name in English, with multiple slicers.

Sales Performance Dashboard

Used the Superstore sales dataset from Kaggle.
Cleaned and removed duplicate and unnecessary data.
Created pivot tables to summarize data and calculate YoY% and MoM%.
Designed an interactive dashboard to provide clear performance insights.
Added a donut chart for revenue by category, a bar chart for profit by segment, and a yearly sales line chart.
Included multiple slicers to explore data in more depth.
